That’s the first thing that comes to mind with 4H – Our children’s involvement in the program has certainly made a positive impact and we couldn’t be more grateful or proud!
While Chase’s tenure was a tad bit shorter, it is still evident that those years provided many life experiences, adventures and lessons he will use in the rest of his life. Cierra on the other hand, just ‘aged out’ at 21. She was her club’s president for the past 5 years and is now a volunteer. There’s never a question where she is the 2nd Monday of every month. She is also one of those that shifts everything to attend whatever outing is planned. Dedicated to say the least.
Each November all the 4h’ers and families are honored at the annual Achievement Night. That happened to be last week. Even though it was last minute, we were sure to be there…
Cierra has helped with the pictures for the past few years and is always up and about doing whatever she can to assist. This year she even presented an award….something else 4-H is responsible for….public speaking! She truly just has that spirit. So, when she was awarded one three awesome awards, Spirit of 4-H it was no surprise.
One of the things I love about her is she never really expects any type of recognition but loves, LOVES to see others recognized. She just beamed when her club’s leader & family were honored to receive the 4-H Family Award –
How awesome! She couldn’t wait to get a picture with them and then post on social media. The spirit and excitement she expresses is truly from the heart.
And fear not, Cierra isn’t getting out of 4-H anytime soon….between volunteering and assisting with her club and the newest member – she is all set. We are very excited to see Kayden grow up in the 4-H family, too.
Yep! She’s ALL in…Hands. Heart. Head. Health.
