It’s no secret that we frequent wineries in our area. It’s no secret there are hundreds to choose from. It’s also no secret we are members at a handful. That’s just us. Feel free to judge.
Speaking of This is us….we STILL haven’t caught up to this season. I was out of town for the first one and we agreed we would watch together. So….it’s going to be binge watching soon. I mean seriously. This is really life. Every show hits home. Whew!
Anyway, every Friday we go somewhere. That’s how we ‘wrap up the week’. So a couple Friday’s ago, it was no different and we had options. Three. (only certain ones are open late) We get ready. Jump in the car and head to Big Cork. It’s honestly a favorite Maryland winery. Luckily they are on the same mountain ridge as the Loudoun County span so their wines are GREAT. We arrive….and this is the first thing we see =)
YAY! said we, NOT. But this just added to the day Ronnie had. Spilled coffee first thing this morning and then a ‘few’ other events, lol. Traffic was pretty heavy to get back home so we took the long way and were going to head to Otium, they are open until 10…cool! But on the way, we actually are very close to Creek’s Edge. What a beautiful place! We haven’t been in a while for a variety of reasons but decided tonight was a night we would stop by. We were one of the first ‘members’ when the place opened and met some great folks. Some we like to call friends. So that’s where we ended up. And what a perfect evening, weather wise.
This place is just beautiful. The wood work and detail is breath taking. We sat outside for a little while – fire pits going. Music playing. Wine flowing.
We have been here in during all seasons and have never been disappointed. Lately we have been sharing our Friday night with what I would consider our BFF’s. We share a lot of the same interests, having fun, weekend adventures, family issues, disappointments, joys and just have so much in common. So we decided it would be fun to take them there (Jeff is also a builder and this place is massive). Great choice! They loved it and are now members. WooHoo!
If you haven’t visited and love wine, it’s a must – and these are just a few…the new pavilion is out. of. this. world!
The top 5 reasons I love Creek’s Edge –
- It’s a beautiful Place
- the wine is awesome
- they have great music
- food – they have a kitchen
- AND – they are open until 9 EVERY Friday (this is hard to find).
- oh and just in case you’re interested, their Foothills RED is my fav =)
Cheers my friends – let’s meet at Creek’s Edge soon!
