So I truly am a small town girl that has lived in Leetown, West (by God) Virginia my entire life. Actually I have lived within a 5 mile radius my entire life. Wow. With that said, I think I have earned to be a Leetown Lady.
I started blogging in 2009 as a hobby, merely to keep track of events and memories of our family. I made lots of blog friends and continued to share everything and anything. Blogging is a way I can put my thoughts to paper. It’s a way that I can be brutally honest if I chose to. I can share funny stories. It’s where I hope my family can go to find memories for many many years.
And about me…..I like to consider myself a sincere blogger. I don’t take friendships lightly. Integrity and honesty are important to me. I don’t pretend all is well in the neighborhood. It’s not uncommon to find me on my knees praying about one of the many challenges I face. I like ‘constant’. I like stability. I have been happily married for over 25 years. I have worked for Wells Fargo for 26 years. Change is inevitable. And when things do change, I find that ‘new’ normal, put my big girl panties on and deal.
My goal is to one day breathe salt air every. single. day. I want to be able to work where the sand meets the sea. I want to live my dream. So, I have juggled a few blogs over the past years and finally landed in a happy place (well at least I think =)
Passions of a Leetown Lady is really Crockett’s Corner re-vamped. When I look at what I blogged about there, the proof is in the bag. Things I am passionate about! So what better way than to share my Life, Local and Love here. Which means moving to a new website which is all about what ‘bev crockett’ has learned about the digital age.
What you will find here is his:
Life – my life. As I know it. Family. Faith. all things life related
Local – we do our best to support the locals. Local may mean within a 5 mile radius, 10, 20 or miles and miles away.
LOVE – these are the things I love. My hobbies. My interests. All shared with you in hopes that you find this life as fun as me.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit often. Feel free to contact me (many options on my home page).
Cheers to you! Life. Local. Love.
