Whew! Say it isn’t so!! Oh how I wish I could but the reality is, IT IS TRUE. From Pumpkin pies to Black Friday to Cyber Monday to Christmas Eve then the big day! The holy Birthday!
And I don’t know about you but the holidays go much better when I am organized, plan appropriately and avoid procrastination. Yep – those three things don’t all come easy to me. Especially the procrastination. So….how can I do a better job this year? Well – Click on the image and CHECK this out!
And the best thing is it is FREE…but you have to hurry because that won’t last for long. I downloaded mine and printed at Staples for $18 – and it’s even bound. If you don’t want color or bound, it will be a little cheaper.
This handy dandy guide has everything from gift lists, grocery lists for holiday meals, cooking baking, christmas card list, Black Friday tips and Cyber Monday planning and even the Thank you list. DO NOT let this get away – I promise you will love it (and Ruth, ha). Honestly I think it will be nice to look at year after year. I plan to scan mine into Evernote once the holidays are over but how cool is it to be able to reflect back to the prior year. From budget to gifts to special notes.
I am already lovin’ mine as I shopped this morning (of course in the comfort of my own home…recliner style=) Making my list and checking off those that will be on my door step on Monday. I love Amazon Prime.…..not only free two0day shipping but also unlimited photo storage and exclusive access to movies, music and kindle books. Returns are easy, too if by chance that gift you ordered just isn’t quite right.
It was a rainy day, perfect for shopping, cleaning out the girls’ room which included moving my scarf hangers from the back of their door…..now, what to do with my scarfs. Who needs so many?! Well, I decided to take an unused shoe bag and fill it with my scarfs. Not such a bad idea, huh?
Now, if they look like they have been all balled up in a shoe bag when I want to wear one, I may have to re-do, hehe. I’m also thinking this might work for my belts. I love being able to recycle things..
Back to the holiday guide – it’s PUMPKIN season. That’s right. Everything from Oreos to pudding to muffins/cakes and even Belvita. I LOVE, LOVE Belvita and was just a little ‘cited to see this flavor in the grocery store this evening. Ronnie spotted a pumpkin pie on the way in and we meant to grab one from the freezer section. Fail. Totally neglected. But also over at LWSL Ruth has a recipe for 5 ingredient Pumpkin Pie (Well, she has a whole section on 5 ingredient recipes =) I’m thinking I might just have to try that tomorrow instead. I’ll be sure to let you know how yummy it is.
